New York life is all about the bustling streets, coffee runs, and constant moving forward. There is never a missed chance of walking past men and women dressed for all occasions. But this particular weekend, we got to experience the glamor, the parties, limousines, and runway models through the eyes of Bo. You can’t help but feel like you are partaking in a scene in the movies.
“It was raining. There were beautiful people dressed in gorgeous gowns with trains that stretched out to the sidewalk.” Bo explained to us what she had experienced on her way to the gala. The Knot held the most exquisite parties for all things wedding and this one top the cake. Beautiful floral arrangements adorned the walls, acrobats and performers dressed in glitter danced across the floor amongst the guests, creative and delicious hors d’oeuvre served in capsules. What a day to be alive!
Unfortunately, the trip wasn’t all fun and play. There was work to be done. Bo had previously scheduled meetings to speak with designers about potential collections. Runway models walked fiercely down the path showing off the movement and flow of the gowns; tulle, satin, organza, and silk draped across the floor as Bo examined the designs. “My brides would love the neckline on this one,” she thought. We are anticipating on which designer Bo will be adding to her collection next year. It is hard work planning what styles to carry next year. Who are we kidding! Attending fashion shows, meeting face to face with the designers themselves, and spotting the next “It” gown for BoLee Bridal Couture to showcase IS FUN!
